Back in May last year, I wrote about how Toddler L – then named Baby L – had been on a photoshoot with Lilly and Sid to model a few items from their upcoming Spring Summer 2016 collection.
After a nearly 10 month wait since we got a sneak peek of the range, it’s now in stock, which gives me the perfect opportunity to share some cute photos of my daughter appearing on the Lilly and Sid website and in their catalogue.
It’s pretty awesome that Toddler L has had the chance to do a bit of modelling like this – she may not remember that she’s done it, but it’ll be cool for her to look back on when she’s older (at least I hope it will!). This obviously means that I’ve been a proper stalker – aka a proud dad – and taken screenshots of wherever she appears on the website and have a hard copy of the SS16 catalogue in my possession. Again, proud, not stalker.
It’s weird though. It only feels like the other day that we went along to the photoshoot, but looking at the photos, she was definitely still a baby back then. If memory serves me correctly, she’d just started to crawl at that point, which is a world away from the walking, talking toddler that we now own. I know people say it, but time really does fly when you have kids. It hit me last night that I’m only a few months away from 31. Or 29 +2 as I prefer to refer to it as.
We’ve big fans of Lilly and Sid, as evidenced by the sprog’s wardrobe which is made up of rompers, tights, trousers, tops, dresses and cardigans which we’ve either bought or been sent as Brand Reps. The new collection continues to deliver on what Lilly and Sid do best, with bright colours, bold patterns, quality material and unique designs throughout the range. Check out some of the cute outfits that Toddler L modelled below:
You can see the rest of the new SS16 collection on the Lilly and Sid website. Whilst you’re there, remember to keep an eye out for a familiar face…
N.B. We are Brand Reps for Lilly and Sid on Instagram, however this post has been written voluntarily and all opinions are my own.[jetpack_subscription_form subscribe_text=”Like what you’ve read? Want more? Pop in your email to get all of the latest posts.”]
